Dear beloved,

This letter below was sent to me via the internet and I thought you might like to know who is your attorney when you die. He never losses if He is in your heart. I am so thankfull for my friend and attorney.

The Rub For Today: "And Jesus came and spoke to tham, saying,All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth" (Matthew 28:18).

After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end.
The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.'

He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me..  He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn't take my eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, 'Let us begin.'

The prosecutor rose and said, 'My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this man belongs in hell.'

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and In the past when I cheated others.  Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank. 

I am studing in the book of Jude.  This is a warning to Christians that we will be opposed and their will be false teachers. He says that we should not be politically correct and that we should reject immorallity and falsehood.

I was told by someone recently that God has changed and that he he does not frown of living in sin. We are under grace. That is a lie I told him. "Jesus Christ (who is God) is the same yesterday, today and forever. So do not  be attracted  by strange new ideas" (Hebrews 13:8). NLT

We must fight for the truth of God and we can not be silent. Ask God to give you holy boldness to speak up when the need arises.

The Rub For Today: "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:28).

I am quite concerned that so many Christians are more interested in making money that sharing the gospel. They tell us they can't understand why they are sick or why their sons ands daughters have strayed away. Yet they stay so busy making money that they don't take time to pray and lead people to the Lord. Some don't even talk to their neighbors.

People have not been concered with doing the Lords work. In Matthew 28:16-20 Jesus commanded us the flock to  make disciples of all nations and baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost or Spirit." Why are we leaving this to the shephards. Jesus told all of us to do it. Then to teach them to observe all things written in the Bible.

Go! Tell your neighbors and your friends the truth before it is too late for them.

The Rub for Today :"He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who does not believe is condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe; In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues(not old ones) they will take up serpants and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them, they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Mark 16:14-18

Wow!

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:35)

What is the hardest thing to do in church sometimes? To love the unlovely. And are there plenty on them in church. Sometimes a bar looks rather inviting after an visit to a church. In a bar people are always nice. In a church people are on;y nice to the ones that are already cleaned up. Let a hobo come in that smells and watch out. Or let a born again sex offender come in or homosexual and watch forgiveness fly out the window.

Yes Christians can be very judgemental. In fack they don't like it when God chooses the tax collector or a lowly fisherman to be his disciple.

What about you? Are you able to love oneanother as God has loved you.

Well we have been down for some time. Even so the Lord can never be hacked. I have to laugh at these hackers from Abania who think that they can stop JESUS FROM MOVING AHEAD. Pride goes before a fall. And fall they will in time if they don't bow their knee to Jesus.Why would anyone want to follow a religion that insists on blowing themselves up. It is amazing to me.

We had an opportunity to share Christ today with some of Gods lost sheep. I had to go to Stuart with a heater for someone and they were gone but the neighbor was in. She accepted prayer and said I could come back. I think I will.

We seem to get alot of people calling from other towns. It is hard to go here and there but if the Lord calls us we must go. The Apostles in the Bible traveled from country to country. Below Paul instructs Timothy on what he should do while Paul is away. Paul could leave Timothy and trust him to do what he was called to do.

"Paul , an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope, To Timothy, my true child of the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, nor to occupy themselves with myths and endless genealogies which promote speculations rather than the devine training that is in faith; whereas the aim of our charge is love from a pure heart  and a good and clear conscience and sincere faith.. 1 Timothy 1:1-5 NRV

Some have to go out and some need to stay behind but they all need to be on the same page. The children of God need to get on the same page. So many are rebellious and only do what they want to do. They don't really follow the teachings of Jesus close enough. They often times rebel against their Pastors not knowing that their rebellion is robbing them of blessings.

Plus the fact that there are so many denominations and some even think they are the only way to heaven. Jesus is the on;y way and although we find him in a church building that building will not be found in heaven. No the we will be worshiping the Lord with out any walls.

Dearest friends,

We believe a Christian should stand out in the crowd and be different than the rest or the world. "For God, "who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6).

Instead of being a light, many Christians have have followed after the things of this world. They worship man instead of God. They make money their God intead of Jesus. There is nothing wrong with having money or relationships with prople. However they need to be in second place to God. If you spend time in the Word and in church than you will not be so easily imfluenced by the world.

The Rub for Today: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105)

We are quickly going into the holiday season and many people will be sad and depressed. If you know someone like this and or if you are someone like this then we may have the answer.

Get some praise and worship music and when you come home from work crank it up. When you get up put on the music and please don't leave home without reading your Word. The Word is the the healing power of Jesus. It will always help you in your walk with God.

As we move closer to the holiday season we are encouraged by the gift of love being shared by so many in our church and among our friends. It seems the heart of God is being spread among many people this year even though money is tight. Love is the only thing that can bring people to the saving grace of Jesus. If we show that love by helping someone with food, clothing and with the joy of the Lord we will be following our Lords leading.

We collect food and make shoe boxes to give out for Christmas and we help people learn to spend time with the Lord. It is not always easy when we have so many things going on. If you find yourself overwelmed just take a breath(3) and put on your praise and worship music. Take time to listen to the Lord by reading His Word.

Life is good when Jesus is first. Life is good when you take time to smell the roses( "I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys" Song of Solomon.) Life is good when the rose of Sharon or Jesus is the center of your life. Amen

The rub for today: 'Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses" (Psalm 107:13.

It has been many moons since I have been able to be on this page. First we were sick and then our computer went haywire. Now we seem to be back on track. There are many things going on in the world today. We who believe should not be afraid because we know the signs and the times.

As we read Through the Bible each year (if you are not your should) we see the LORD moving as he always has done only now we see more and more of Revelation being revealed.

 In Revelation it says " Blessed is he who readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand" (Revelation 1:3).

Some of you are to share this just with your families and others are to share it with your families and  the world. Only you and God know which one you are. However if you don't read the Word you won't have anything to share.

Are we coming to the end of time? Is the One World Government starting to bring the US down to their knees? What is you opinion and where do you stand on this position?

Dear friend,

Even though it looks very troubling in these time, we need to build our strength and our faith by His Word. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).

It also says: "If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength!" (Proverbs 24:10) We need to fellowship and be strong now in our faith because the men and women who are trying to bring this country to its needs have faith only in themselves. They don't care who they hurt or if they hurt others. The want power over the Kings Kids and they think they will have it if they succeed in overtaking us. They will never have power over us. Know we will never give up our faith in Jesus if we are building our strength.

You would be surprised at how many many Christians are living like hell and believing they are going to heaven. Those who are not really following Jesus will falter. They are in for a big surprise because the Bible says the foolish virgins (saved) will be left outside when the bridegroom comes. It is sad but true. Read Matthew 25:1-1

Why should we spank our children and why does it not hurt them?

The Bible says:"Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying" (Proverbs 19:18).

If you don't spank a child when he misbehaves he will think misbehaving is okay. A child has to be taught  the right wayto act and then you need to show love to him. It is important that love goes hand in hand with correction. So many times I remember my dad giving us the look that said one mor time and you will get the belt. Funny the look most of the time was enough for us kids to quit misbehaving.

I only wish my parents had known to read the scriptures to me that said how much we needed correction and love. The word does not come back void. The Word of God explains so much and helps us to live a righteous life.

We aren't righteous by our own doing. No, we receive the righteousness of Jesus Christ when we are born again. "Marvel not-do not be surprised, astonished--at My telling you, You must all be born anew (from above)" (John 3:7AMP).

No you can't be changed into the person God wants you to be until spiritually you are changed and only God can do it. As you repent and turn away from sin and ask Jesus to come into your heart you will be saved and you will have the righteousness inside of you  that is from Jesus. "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Crist unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no defference For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: " (Romans 3:22-24)

Jesus loves you all dearly and he wants the child and the adult to be drawn to his love through his Son Jesus and led by the Holy Spirit to grow in the righteousness of God. He will spank even His adult children if need be.

Jesus does love us and has a wonderful plan for us.

Who is your father?

We have and earthly father and a heavenly father. The earthly father is supposed to mirror our heavenly Father. Unfortunatly so many earthly fathers don't know their heavenly fathers.

In John 1:12 it says: "But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"

It was Gods intention that we believe and we come to him in love and that we would then draw our families and friends to the Lord.

If you want to accept Jesus and become a son of God say this prayer or something like it. Father in heaven, I am a sinner and I now know I can not save my self. I repent of my sins and I put my faith in the cross and your shed blood to pay for my sins. I accept Jesus now and believe I will go to heaven when I ask him in to my heart as I do now. Thank you for saving me, Lord. Amen and Amen

Now if you just did that please let us know and we will pray with you. Find a Bible based church and go get baptized and turn from any sin that will drag you dowmn again.Bless you in your new life in Christ.

Why should we not be afraid as Christians?

The Lord is very clear in his Word, that if we are content with the things we have that he will never leave us of forsake us. Hebrews 13:5. He also says we can say boldly that the Lord is our helper and we will not fear what man shall do to us. Hebrews 13:6.

We can however do all we can do to stop people from injecting unfair rules over us as the constitution allows. We are a very unique people as Christians in a unique country. We know that our Father in heaven is going to help us but we also know that the people in thais country have free will. We are sometimes subject to their free will. Amen So when we are caught in the middle because we are few don't be surprized and don't be afraid. Some things have to come to pass before the end. Then Jesus will come and we will be taken home.

The Rub For Today is: "If you endure chastening, God dealeth with you as sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? Hebrews 12:7

Dear United States Citizens,

I have to wonder when I hear about the new healthcare program what kind of sick people are putting it together. (They may have been watching Solvent Green in their hayday.) The one provision that makes me think they aren't the least bit born again(John 3:5). is the provision that  has to to with the government having a little chat with you when you are elderly or sickly and have served your purpose. (or what they think is your purpose)You can read it for  yourself on You-Tube under Obama Health Care Program.

I have to believe they must have not read the Ten Commnadments or believe them. Thou shalt not kill is a big one! They can't understand what it means to care for those less fortunate than our selves. I think these men in the government need to be shook to their core them selves and lets ask Jesus to reveal the truth of what happens to murderers in the end after they pass on. Open their eyes Lord. Maybe they should watch the movie Ghost because I know they won't read the Word. In Ghost the murderer is pulled down into hell by the demons to torture for eternity and they were created for evil. The demons will know how to inflick pain upon those who don't repent and ask Jesus into their hearts. Those who are not save or born again should fear the rath of God(not Alah, Budah or any other man made god) There gods have no power. They are nothing.

I say you who are ready to kill others will pay for their deaths. We will pray for you now (Matthew 6:44)but when you are in hell there will not be any return trips no matter how hard someone prays for you. Read John 3, and Romans 10 to be born again and to see eternal life with the real God Johovah or just mock God and end up in the lake of fire.

"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith" (Romans 12:1-21).

What does this scripture mean to you?

To me it means we should not be puffed up as the Lord blesses us with wisdom, finances , gifts and callings. If we do get puffed up and start to think more highly of ourselves than we ought we are headed for a fall. My husband and I got to go to Haiti when we were very young in the Lord. We were walking down a very steap hill when a thought came to my mind. I agreed with the thought and took ownership of it. I was thinking I was going to tell my friends what I had done here in Haiti. Immediately I began to fall and role down the hill as I dropped my things and rolled over and over I asked God to forgive me for I had done nothing. I was just his vessel here on earth and for me to take credit was a sin against God. God is good and He is merciful. He forgave me right away and He had given me a lesson I would not soon forget..

The Rub For today: "And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2).

"Why do you keep saying that I am your Lord, When you refuse to do what I SAY?" (Luke 6:47)

I thought I would let the Lord ask a question for a change. Since it because of Him this column exists. He is not concerned about the lost serving Him. No, he wants to know why those who confess him don't do what He says. Could it be becuase they are rebelious? Or are they r-e-a-l-l-y saved. Many say they believe but they don't really believe. They have found out that it can sometimes be lucritive to confess Jesus even when he is not in their heart. Then there are those who are not mature yet. Why aren't they mature or perfected and the Bible says. I think I have some of the reasons.

1. They may not have been taught that they need to be baptised and need to be in a Bible believing church.

2. They may not have understood that they need to pray and read their Bible. Praying is talking to God and reading the Bible is God talking to you.

3. They may not understand that by grace (you did nothing to deserve it) you were saved but you are to turn away from sin.

4. They may have not understood or accepted that sin is anything in the Bible (inspired Word of God) that God says not to do. Like lie, steal, live together without marriage, live with same sex, ( Adam and Eve not Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve) or steal etc, etc...

These are things they should have learned from parents. If their parents were not able to teach them them they needed some spiritual parents. Spiritual parents are those mature Christians in Church that give their time to help grow people up into the men and women God wants them to be.

Now if we had more Christians that would open their homes to others to teach them or those who are willing to rent a space and teach them we might not have so many problem children and more people might be willing to accept the LORD>

Why do people covet something someone else has?

Simple they want what you have and they are too lazy to work for it and they either steal it or or figure out a way so they can take it away from you. That is why the Lord had some bad things to say about lawyers. Now thank God we have some good ones but what about the bad ones. One bad apple in a bushel can make all the apples smell bad.

We have to be careful to not beg people for their things or say things like when your done with that can I have it. You put people in an uncomfortable spot when you say things like that.

The best thing to do is to ask God to show you how to get something and then save up for it. God will provide for you. Amen.

Plus if this happens to you be gentle and tell them it was a gift (everthing is a gift from God) and you would love to pray for them to be able to have one. Then pray yourself and if God gives you the go ahead you can give it away. If it was not a gift from someone whose feelings will be hurt if you give their gift away.

Ex 20:17; Acts 20:33 1 Corinthians 12:31; 1 Timothy 6:10

Dear Viagra,

I am sooooo glad you wrote me. I have wanted to make a statement about those crude ads. Now you have given me a platform. These comertials confirm the truth that man truly needs a Savior. When men are so preoccupied with this aspect of their life you can be assured they either have no relationship with Jesus or it is not very strong.

Now I know there are those unfortunate people who have a real problem. Even so, I believe a closer relationship with Jesus would either fix this problem or a man would be at peace with whatever he had been given to work with.

Love is much more than sex. It is a relationship with the woman God has put into your marriage. The Bible says in 3 John 2 that the Lord wants you to be in good health and for your soul (mind, will, and emotions) to prosper. . If a man is thinking so much about sex,  you know he is not as spiritually prosperous as the Jesus would have him to be.

Jesus Christ is love , and if you love Him as much as you should then viagra and the NEED for it should not be that  important.

If you need Jesus please ask him now to come into your heart. He is waiting for you to ask.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me"  (John 14:6). Come into my heart , Jesus, and save my soul from sin.  Forgive me of all my sins. I believe you died for me, was buried and rose again for me to be saved. I love you Jesus. Amen

Now read John 3 and go tell someone what you just did. Get baptised because Jesus said to do it. We love you. Matthew 28:18,19 and 20.

Dear kllkjsjhfdhfkshkhdshd,

You did not give me your real name so I can't write you back. I know though you must be in pain to send me your letter without saying anything. You have been hurt and I am sorry. God wants to heal your pain. You can tell him everything and he will listen and help you. "I poured out my complaint before Him(the Lord); I shewed before Him my complaints" (Psalm 142:2). God is a big God.

I know you have been emailing me for some time but I did not know how to respond. I have a friend who has been blaiming me for the separation from his girlfriend since she accepted Jesus. I did not separate them but since she is changed she wants a new life. You can have that too. The Father in heaven loves you. Please say this prayer with me.

Lord my life is a mess and I want something better. I want you. I turn my life over to you and receive Jesus into my heart. Male me into a new creation. I TURN away from my sins. I renpent and want to live for you Lord. Help me become who you called me to be. Amen.

Now if you truely believe Jesus died for your sins and have accepted Him, send me a real letter letting me know what you have just done. Jesus loves you and so do I.

Should we kill people we disagre with? And why or why not?

Two wrongs don't make a right. In the case of the abortion doctor I wonder why God did not stop this killing. Why let a Muslem no less kill this man who has killed so many babies.

The Bible says "Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing, but contraringwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that you should inherit a blessing" (1 Peter 3:9).

But then, this  killer would not have read the Word of the true God of Abraham. His religion forsook the God of Abraham and the Christian God, Jahovah, for a false God. Therefore the  book he reads leads his people into unrighteous acts.

The Rub for Today is: "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:37). Jesus Christ of Nazareth is Lord.

Who is our President?

Is he a Christian or a Muslim?

Remember the saying: "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me? Well, words do hurt you. The words of our President are hurting our nation and our faith. We are not a Muslim nation and we are a Christian based nation. over 70% people in our nation say they are Christians. He is trying to change that by speaking lies.

Our President is a liar. He is NOT a Christian. He might think he is because he once joined a church but church membership does not make a Christian. You must be born Again. PLEASE READ John 3

He probably is not really a Muslem because if he was he would know that the Koran says we Christians must die and he would not have converted. So who is our President?  

It is time for Chritains to take a stand. Pray and read Psalm 149; God wants to use you.Read your Bible; the Apostles and real believers died for their faith.

Why are more and more people turning away from Jesus?

I think it is because of sin? The kind of sin that makes you disobey God's Word. Of course if you are not a true believer why would you obey. When we were  born in the natural we were given a sence of right and wrong. Yes even the bad guys.  The only way to follow the Word and Gods truth though is to be born again. John 3:5

What bothers me about those who are not born again is that they are led not by the Spirit of God but by thier own fleshly desires. If those fleshly desires are fed evil then thier  thoughts and desires will turn toward bad and evil practices. Amen. If someone is not born again but they still are brought up with good morales than they will be better but they still need the Word or Jesus. The will need to be born again  People don't like to be told that but once they hear it and it sinks into thier spirit they will understand. John 1:14 says Jesus is the Word.

The Word will bring you to the saving grace of God. The Word will keep your love walk in check and help you be more like Jesus. Without the Word of God even Christian believers can backslide. And backsliders will not see the Kingdom of God. That is the goal.

How do we get to heaven and is hell a real place?

Do you ever feel that a Christian is rubbing you the wrong way? If so why?

Proverbs 15:7 says that : "The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so" (Proverbs 15:7).

Sometimes a Christian will quote a scripture when answering a Biblical question and a non believer or a believer who is not in the Word will get irritated. Why? The Word of God is alive. It is used to correct and to edify. It can be painful to anyone who is being drawn to God or who is is being used by God to bring  the truth into a situation.

In Proverbs 3:12 it say: "For whom the Lord loveth he  He correcteth: "even as a father the son in whom he delighteth." 

So you see it is not always the person who is rubbing you but the Lord who is using the person. I have met many Christians that think they are very wise in the Lord but they don't use the Word to bring people to the Lord because they are afraid of rubbing people the wrong way. Christians need to prepare themselves every day to share the truth. If it rubs someone then just maybe the Lord is doing some heart surgery on them.

The Rub For Today: Time to start 'Rubbing People for Christ!' Jesus said: "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for their's is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:10, 11,12).

Pray and read your Word everyday and you will have your armor on and be ready to do battle. If you are armed you won't be worried about rubbing people the wrong way but the right way for Christ. Amen.

Why must we be hated by all men? Why are we being branded a raciest for speaking the truth?

Dear precious ones,

The truth is that as believers in Christ we were told that we must suffer all things as Jesus did. Being hated by those that hate or don't know Jesus goes with the territory. People hate what they don't understand and or are brainwashed. As far as being branded raciest I think it is just the meanest thing the devil could come up with and he always repeats himself. The truth is that people who love Jesus are really the least of all raciest because the see no color in others.

Christians hate sin but love the sinner. That is why you see most of the missionary work around the world done by Christians. Red Cross was founded by Christians. Many other missions that help those in need are Christian bases. Unlike other religions that go around condemning and killing people to further their cause. Those who kill will find out soon enough that their sins if gone unrepented will taunt them day and night for eternity.  That makes me sad but the truth is "For God did not send His Son into the world  to condemn the world but in order that the world might be saved through Him" (John 3:17). NKJV

The Rub for Today: "For God sooooooooooooooooooloved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). NKJV

 I woke up from my nap to a pitty party. At that pitty party I was the only guest. I opened a book called His Princess by  Sheri Rose Shepherd. The title of this section I was to read is My Princess you Don't Have to Fit In. How often I have felt set apart and have wondered why I don't fit in. It says I have a royal call on my life and wear the crown of everlasting life. Now I see that as a believer  in Christ Jesus and a servant of God there will be many times where I won't fit in and I may as well get used to it. It means that in this life I will always have those who don't respect my calling and or my Lord. I have to rejoice because I am doing the Lords work and I am truely a child and a servant of the most high God, and His Son is my Savior. What more can I want.

The Rub For Today:"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men. I would not be a servant of Christ." Galations 1:10 NIV

Question: Why should we pray for the people that hurt us and are false prophets?

Dear friend,

We are called to love your enemies, bless those that curse you and pray for those that dispitefully use you. Matthew 5: 43-48 Please read it for yourself. I know it is hard to pray for the homeland security advisor and or men or women slandering people who work hard and want to stand up for your rights but JESUS went through the same thing in His day, Didn't He? He told us what we were in for. Do we really believe or are we half hearted Christians.

Right before and shortly after we became Christians we started to feel the fire and the persecution. It was intense but it only made us stronger. We now have weathered many storms and we have survived and you will too. If you don't quit. Quitters never win.

Please don't be bitter and or angry. Thise feelings will just add fuel to the fire that the enemy is trying to build in your life. If we fast and pray every day we will be strong in Jesus (the Word) Read your Word and don' t look back.

It is hard to see our President shake hands with evil dictators and or loosen the bands on abortion. It is hard to see people out right lie on NBC, CBS and ABC. It makes me ill to see people get by with the lies and untruth.

We understand and we want you to know you are not alone. Watch Fox TV if you don't believe that. Turn on Christian TV and listen to the truth.

What is the resurrection all about? And why do we celebrate the death of Jesus?

Dear friend,

The Bible says that Jesus suffered and died for us but the key is he rose again on the first day of the week. Luke 24:1

"But he was wounded for our transgressions(sin and disobediance), he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we wer healed" (Isaiah 53:5)

We celebrate to remind us of the Lords sacrifice for each of us and to give glory to God for His devine love for us. We also celebrate to let the world know that he is the true Messiah. He is the one who came to save the world for death.

The prophets have spoken: "Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory" (Luke 24:25-26)?

You see Christ didn't just come to teach and to preach he came to suffer and to die and then to rise again for each one who will believe and accept the truth.

 After Jesus rose again Jesus broke bread with the disciples and ..."he said to them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fullfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets and in the Psalms, concerning me" (Luke 24:44).

We would like to have you read through your Bible each year so you can be taught by the Holy Spirit all things. The Bible is the Word and the Word is God and the Word (Jessus)became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:1,14

"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17).

What is a friend?

The dictionary says: a friend is: somebody who has a close relationship of mutual affection and trust with another.

What is a brother?

The dictionary says: A brother is a relative or a close male friend.

What is adversity?

The dictionary says: It means suffering or hardship.

Some one you have a close relationship with at brither and are as close as a spiritual or blood relative is born for suffering and or harsdship.Now that is the truth because the Lord said we wil suffer if we are part of the family of Christ. Amen So why do we complain so loud when we suffer. Are we saved and are we on track with the Lord.

The Lord is always working for us and he is always thinking  how he can put us where we are needed the most.

I'm a Christian. I pray to God and talk to God all the time. Why should I to church?  I don't need to be with a much of hypocrites. 3/8/09

Dear Christian,

I think you misunderstand the purpose of fellowship. We gather on Sundays as a group to lift the name of Jesus  together. We praise him and we show our adoration as a group because we love him. We are made perfect in Christ but we aren't perfect in this flesh. We do make mistakes I am sorry to admit.  Having friends though around us that are like minded in our love for our Savior is both comforting and a blessing. We grow in Christ every day and with the help of our friends in our churches we look more like Jesus every day. Hebrews 10:23-25

When a sheep wonders off by himself a preditor is more likely to attack the sheep than when he is in a group of sheep. The shepherd goes to get the sheep if he can and brings him back. Sometimes though the sheep loses his way and can't be brought back. That is why we try to get the sheep or those who love Jesus to stay in the fold or the church. Read Psalm 23.

1 Corinthians 1:9 says "God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord."  Why would you not want to fellowship with other believers if you are really saved? You should be drawn to them like a magnate. There are circumstances of course but even then you should be having a strong desire to fellowship with other Christians. If you are really saved you should be drawn to fellowship with believers.

The sad thing is most people who say they only see the hypocrites, they only look at our mistakes They don't remember our victories or the people our witness saves from the Lake of Fire.

From the time I was a little girl I loved to go to church. However when I got to high school and then married and the  worldly influence came in and drew me out. We had a cottage, a boat, and we began to drink and party with non-believers. Pretty soon we grew cold and we did not attend church. Not because we did not want to love Jesus and know him but because we did not want to be hypocrites. We finally realized that only the blood of Jesus could change us and we repented and rejoined the church family. Now we have gone to several churches and now we go to a very small church because we like it. Is everyone in this church perfect? No! Do we have bad days? Yes! It is not about being perfect  or always having good days but wanting to be more like Jesus every day.

If you still don't understand why Christians need each other then I think you might want to read the the book of John 3 and ask the Lord to help you  to understand and he will.

How do we get Godly wisdom and why do we need it?

Okay your time is up. Godly wisdom can only be found in the Word and by listening to men and women who study the true Gods Holy Word.  The Holy Bible, KJV is our first choice and then New American Standard.

"A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain to wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction" (Proverbs 1:5-7).

If you are going to be a fool, be a fool for Christ. He is the Word of God.

The Rub For today: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh..."(John 1:1, 14).

Dear friends and family,

God is good and will not give us more than we can bare but sometimes I think His stress point is a little too high for me, Even though, I know He is testing me., it is hard to understand at the moment.  ..."the testing of your faith brings out steadfastness....that you may be completed  and rounded out with no defects whatever" James 1:4 I guess this time of testing means there are still a F E W defects in my makeup.

I am learning that we need to be well rounded and completed to do the work of the ministry. Amen There are so many needs and so many people who are needy. We have to decide who God wants us to help and who He wants others to help. If we aren't well rounded then we have a tendency to be tossed to and fro. That is not a good feeling.

Yesterday God had my husband talk about the peace of God. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). At the time he spoke I did not know just how much I would need that peace today. Thank the Lord I have the His peace to fall back on.

If you are feeling stressed and used up you are not walking in Gods peace. Take a deep breath through your nose and breath out through your mouth. Do that three times and close your eyse and meditate an a verse God gave you this morning. This is taking time for yourself. You can't help others if you are not whole. We give our children time out and we need to give us some timeout for ourselves as well.

The Rub For Today: "Blessed is the man who stands up under trial; for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him" (James 1:12).

Who are the good the bad and the ugly?

We are. We are made up of the good things that have happened in our lives and the bad and the ugly. They are what makes us who we are. Those things have shaped us and molded us in tho the men and women we have become.

The pattern looks a little like a mosaic. A little of this and a little of that. It is not all good and it is not all bad. It has however shaped us into the men and women we have become.

Sometimes we like who we are and sometimes we don't. Whoever we are or have become Jesus still came to change you; he came to save you.

"For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:17). John 3:17

Sometimes those who look better and have had less of the bad and the ugly have a harder time turning their lives over to Jesus. However they still have to bow their knee to the King of Kings. If they don't now then they will at judgment day and then it will be too late.

If you have never become born again (John 3) but you know that today is the day of your salvation then say this prayer.

Father God I turn away from sin and I believe your Son died, was buried and rose again to make me right with you. I want Jesus to come into my heart. I want to spend eternity with you and live for you from this day on. Thank you for saving me. Amen

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and find good pasture". (John 10:9).

Now if you said this prayer and you know it took go find a Bible believing church and read your Bible. Meditate day and night on what god wants you to hear. He loves you. Go tell someone else how much Jesus loves them. too!

Dear children of God,

Why are we to be the light of the world? Is it because we are so good? Is it because we have always been Christian. NO! We are not good and we were born in sin because Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden. If you and I had been in the garden we would have done the same thing

We are to be the light because God chose to send Jesus into this world and let His light shine through his children. The children are the light because they asked the true light, Jesus, to come into their hearts.

So many professing Christians and or non Christians act like they are perfect because of what they have done or not done. I believe they are deceived like Eve was in the garden. They are rejecting the truth.

Lets get real here. Jesus paid the price to save your soul (mind, will and emotions) and if you try to get to the Father with out the light of Jesus in your heart you will miss the boat. (and or the rapture) Do you really want to be left behind. If you do, will you please study Revelations so you will have a very good picture of what to expect in your future.

The Rub For Today: "Then spake Jesus again saying, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,  but shall have the light of life." John 8:12

Happy Valentines Day!

Bless you and keep you all in His loving hands. We celebrated St Valentines Day over the weekend. I hope you know that even if you did not get a Valentine card or candy from a person that the Lord loves you. You will always be His Valentine and he has blessed you.

St Valentine died to save others from sin. He was jailed for marrying soldiers when the pagen king had ordered they stay single. Well St Valentine knew for them to die in sin was far worse than them being disobedient to the king.

We may have to disobey if we are to keep our lives pure. Be vigilant and be listening to the Lord. He will make a way.

The Rub For Today: "And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and thy praise all the day long"(Psalm 35:28).

Dear love ones,

I have a question for you. Do you wake up and ask God what he has for you today? If you don't why don't you try it. The Lord wants us to be so close to him we can't wait to start our day with him. He wants us to be in love with him. "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." Psalm 103:1. You see as we read scripture the Lord tells us how He wants to be addressed. He tells us how he wants to be loved on and cared for. You might think it is silly to believe the God of this universe wants to be loved on but he does. Why? Because he loves you. He loved us so much that he gave us freedom to choose to love him. I am sure it pains him when we choose to turn away. However he never stops sending his soldiers to share the gospel message to His wayward children. You know he breathed into Adam the breath of life; and Adam (man) became a living soul (mind, will and emotions) Gen. 2:7 The Lord God in heaven had a devine plan for man. Many have deviated from the plan but that does not make the plan null and void no it makes the plan all the more real for those seeking after the the things of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. When you have accepted Jesus, the Son into your heart the plan becames real and will make you to understand the Word, (who..."was make  flesh" John 1:1, 14) for all mankind because he loved us. Amen

The Rub for today is: "All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad." Matthew 26:31

Dear saved ones and lost ones,                                                                                                        2/2/09

I wonder if anyone else feels as I do about  the effect of the love of Jesus has on this world. His love can get us through sickness, death and pain. It can help us see joy even when everyone around us can only see sadness. I know time as we know it is coming to a close. I am not sad to see the end of this life for the next. No, this life is for but a moment and then we are home, if Jesus is in our heart. Even so I am very concerned for our loved ones who don't seem to listen to the warning signs. The Bible tells us to "Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity,*love) peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart" (2Timothy 2:22). Many would rather fly to the enemy because of the glam. It is time we turn up the heat my friends for those we love. We must preach the truth to them lest they be left behind. Do you love your neighbor enough to endure some grief from them? I do hope so. For their sake and yours.

The Rub for Today: "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away" (2 Timothy 3:5).

Dear friends and foes,

I am in shock! Last night I heard that President Osama's first TV appearance was to the Muslim nation. How much clearer can it be that he is not really one of us. We have been duped. Our president is a sympathizer with the enemy. Try to talk him out of this one my friends. I was reading Jeremiah this morning and the priests, prophets and people had fallen into sin so far that God was sending them into captivity. Be prepared for the worst to come. Take your blinders off because our nation is in for a very bumpy ride. Amen. "Lift not up your horn on high, speak not with a stiff neck. For the promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge; he putteth down one, and setteth up another" Psalm 75: 5-7 God has let this perverse generation have what they asked for. Not a man of color as they thought but a died in the wool Muslim who will be selling our nation down the river. Get on your knees and repent and pray. The time has come for the church to get their heads out of the clouds.

The Rub For Today: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report; if there be any praise, think on these things" (Philippians 4:8).

Dear saints and sinners,

I was talking to a priest one day and I was telling him about my new discovery. I had just learned in the Bible that I was a saint. ( not always saintly) He did not like my discover as much as I did because I don't think God had enlightened him yet. You see a saint is one who is "born again" John 3. Years later the kindly priest said to me Mary you are a saint, in a very nice way. He must have gotten the understanding then.

Here is what I want to share about scripture and what we learn from it. We learn at different leavels. Some may have been in the ministry a long time and know many things. They are very wise in many areas of the Bible but God has not given them insight into a certain verse. Then along comes a baby Christian(who is still in diapers and sometimes stinks) and "BOOM" God gives him an understanding that is way beyond what the understanding the muture Christian has into a verse or two.. Why would God do that? Only God really knows but I suspect it is to keep all of us humble.  Even the most mature Christian can stumble when pride gets in the way. Amen.

The Rub For Today: " For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world" (1 John 2:16).

Dearest saints and brethren,

Life goes on. We just finished seeing history being made. Now we will see if the history books will write that having a liberal president, is the best for our country. Sure it has made many liberals and others feel vindicated. I can understand that  vindication feels good. But is vindication going to lead our country in the right direction? Let's look at who is following our new leader. Hollywood celebrities and all the baggage that goes with them. Sin city and those who want to take those willing to be holy as God is holy down to the pit with them. Then we have groups that backed him that have been killing innocent babies for years. Who is this man we now have in the White House? The man is a man who needs our prayers because he is in our White House and God commands us to pray for our leaders.

These next few years will have many of us on our knees for sure and they may just break a few good men and women. I hope their brokeness will lead them to our Lord. Just remember that whoever is in office is not going to effect the Kingdom of God. It will go on with or without us. So be advised to pray and keep your eyes on the Lord.

The Rub For Today:

"Be careful (anxious)  for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgivig let your requests be made known unto God" (Philippians 4:6). 

What a wonderful life. God has blessed his children in so many ways. We get to talk to Him and be with Him in the Spirit. He guides us and loves on us. There is so much he wants to say to each one of His children. Listen and you will hear.

Yesterday we went to a tea room. It was lovely. Some had to work and I am sorry they had to miss it. We got to wear hats and boas and just step into another world for a few minutes. Thank you Lord for the blessing of time travel here on earth.

As I look around and I hear so many fears from people because of the evil in this world, I have to wonder if anyone even spends time in their Word. God shows us that there will be trials and tribulation here on this world. Even so He is very clear that He will rule and anyone who thinks the devil has even the slightest chance to rule over Him is sadly mistaken.

God ..."created man in His own image" (Genesis 1:27). so we are going to be very creative even if we have never turned our life over to Him. In fact if we have not asked Jesus in to our hearts we are used by the beast to flaunt himself into Gods face. Even to naming our cars after him.

Often I look back on my life and see how the beast used me to tempt God and I shudder to think what would have happened had God not loved me enough to give me time to come to Him.

There is a prophecy out that says the next President would be born again. I guess that would mean we should pray for  him so it comes to pass very soon.

The name Jesus means salvation and Emmanuel means God with us. Let's pray for our new President to call on his name to be saved because Jesus said"...I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6).

Life can still be sweet if you let the Lord lead you daily. I know because I was tossed to and fro until I gave Jesus my heart. Amen

Dear Ones,

We are about to celebrate the close of another year. It is going to be the beginning for some and the ending for others. Even so, the Lord is good. He wants us to praise Him to one another no matter what has happened. Please thank God for all things that came your way this year. Nothing happens without the Lord knowing it would happen. He is in control. Let Him advise you through the Word this next year. Let Him make you into the man or woman he called you to be. Amen

Dear friends and family,

I woke up this morning with a new anticipation. The Lord has quickened me in my heart to go out to shopping centers to share the gospel message. I will start this Friday with tracks in hand and the Word in my mouth. I know that the Word will not come back void. Please pray brothers and sisters as it is a little like going into a mine field. I won't know for sure which ones might explode at the gospel.

Last night we were sharing about our past victories and defeats on Ave D in Fort Pierce and in Flea markets and such. We were never ones to preach to the choir much. Lately though that is exactly what we have been doing and it is not very satisfying. I told the Lord I was going crazy just standing on the side lines so he gave me a mission. Shopping Centers. There are probably more people unsaved or backslidden in shopping Centers than any where in this country.

So starting this Friday we are going to go to every Shopping Center from Hobe Sound to Vero to share the gospel. Then we will travel farther as the Lord leads. If anyone is interested in going with, please contact me.

Merry Christmas and have sweet dreams tonight of all the souls you will be reaching this year. Souls are what the Lord saved you for. So get out there and bring some to the cross of Jesus. Amen

The Rub For Today:

And Jesus said to them, "Come with me, and I will make you to become fishers of men" (St. Mark 1:17).

 Dear Saints and sinners,

Today we are 2 days from the celebration of the birth of Jesus Chrisy. For many it is a time to give a gift to a child or family member. To others it is a time to get drunk and stay drunk until they go back to work. Some will even die during this time. If a loved one dies without Christ and that is the worst part of the festivities. They will find out that they  served another God and will suffer for it for eternity. What a waste! It does not have to be that way. You can come to Jesus by saying yes I want to believe and I want to have Jesus come into my heart.

God is calling you home. He is drawing you to himself and he is just waiting for you to say I will, Lord. "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him..." (John 6:44).

Many people say that they will come after this last party.  Just one more drink or one more fling but there may not be time enough to turn to the Lord after that. No that last fling may just be that, the last fling.

Please turn your life over to Christ today. "In Him we have...the forgiveness of sins..."(Ephesians 1:7).

Make this Christmas a real Christmas celebration. Amen

Are you ready  to celebrate the King of Kings birth on the earth. The Lord of Lords and the Bright Morning Star! We have been watching some Christmas shows and we are amazed. Our amazement is for the shows that just want you to believe in Satan; oops I meant Santa. Are the two very different? If you jumble up the letters in Santa you come up Satan. (Our son showed us that as a teenager) We should not be making an idol out of Santa. He is not the reason for the season. Santa can not give you anything or save you from anything. Jesus Christ (John 1:14) is the reason and Satan will not get the glory. No Satan or Santa or whoever you worship will go down in the end. Way down...

Jesus Christ came to save the world and He is the Savior. John 3:16 All the presents and all the gifts will not bring one child close to the Lord.  The only gift is the Word of God that will truly bring a child to the cross. I remember Christmas as a time when things went wrong. I remember that Christmas was toys and strife. The Christmas story of the birth of Christ was so dim I could not hear it. When I found out Santa was a lie a blatant lie I hated Christmas for a while. The lie took all the joy out of it. It was the first lie my parents told me.  Now if I had more of the truthin me I might have believed and understood that Santa is just a myth to get our eye 's off of the true meaning of the gospel.

I am not saying we should not give gifts. Gifts are good and we love to give and to receive them but the  true gift should always be given with the gift. Jesus Christ is the best gift of all. Even at birthdays we should remind our children why we were born. Our birth is to celebrate Jesus as well because we are created to worship him.

The gospel according to Luke 1:26-55 and Luke 2:1-20 told of a child to be born of a virgin and that child was to be named Jesus or Yashua in Hebrew. Jesus is the Messiah to the Jew and Gentile alike.  This was a true miracle and is still today and the truth that brings us to the cross. Everyone around the world celebrates Christmas in some form and fashion. Someday they will all bow their knee to Jesus  and we hope and pray  it will be because of their love for him.

Please tell the story of Jesus to your family today and this Christmas and take them to church so they hear the story over and over. Jesus told Thomas. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." John 14:6-7

The Rub For Today:

Dear friends and family,

Today is December the 5th already and the Christmas the world and many Christians celebrate is coming close.  It always makes me sad to see how many people don't know the real meaning of Christmas. Those that celebrate not because of the birth of Christ but because of presents seem to have a feeling of let down after all the festivities are over.

Now if you really want to celebrate Christmas and have it all year long then  you might want to listen to the Christmas message and look into believing what it says. You can read all about the birth and life in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I can tell you all about it but I would rather you read for yourself. True faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God. You can find the exact verse in Romans 10:17.

The reason so many people don't believe is because they were not brought up on a steady diet of the Word of God. When it says the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14) it means that Jesus who was born and lived here on earth is God and he came to earth to to fulfill a mission and that mission was to spread his Truth or the Word until He returns. He did not come to judge the world at this time as so many preaches seem to want to do. (John 3:17) No, He came to save the world through Him. Amazing isn't it that God(John 1:1) came in the person of His Son down to earth like a baby and lived like us and then died in the flesh like us just so he could reach us and have us live for all eternity.  Wow! Isn't that wonderful? Our God loves us that much. Actually it is wonderful the he loves the whole world that much.

Please make time for the Word.  The Word  will save your soul (mind, will and emotion). God will judge those who don't accept His Son. He will give you until you pass on out of this world. So please turn your life over to Jesus. He loves you so much and so so I.

"Father, may your name be kept holy. May your  kingdom come soon. Give us each day the food we need, and forgive our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don't let us yield to temptation" (Luke 11:2-4). Please deliver us from the evil one and keep our mine set you you, Lord. We cannot live a victorious life without your Word and your love. thank you, Lord for all you do for me and us day by day. It is good to be in the house of the Lord and to be in the presence of you Son. May we always walk according to your precepts and live according to your way. We love you and need you in our daily life. There is no other way to heaven but by you. in Jesus name I pray. Amen

Dear friends and family,

We are looking for those who are sold out to Jesus to go out in the fields for the harvest. Jesus said: ..."Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest" (John 4:35)

Time is short and the Lord needs all of his children, young and old to share the gospel message. The reason God's chosen are not doing the work of the Lord are the idols they are serving in this world. An idol is anything that has gotten your eyes off the work of the Lord.

One idol could be fear. They are fearful to do the work of the Lord because of persecution. Persecution is very real and it can be scary at times. Men and women who serve the devil can come against you. They can even be in your churches. Those are the ones who hurt the most. People who either don't want to witness or are afraid to try to stop you. Don't let them. Pray for God to give you holy boldness and don't be anxious for anything. God is still on the throne. Read your word for encouragement.

Another idol is TV, games, hobbies and anything that steals your time with God. Those idols can be very powerful. Mine was crafts and I have a room full of junk to prove it. God is a jealous God and he will let you know if your time with him is suffering. If you continue to have a check in your spirit then you may want to take some of your hobbies time and give it to God.

Another idol can be a car or a vacation vehicle that steals money from God. God has given some of you the gifts of finances. Now he wants you to have nice things. He is not a miser. However he gave you the gift of finances to further the kingdom of God as well. God has made Pastors live by faith to have to pray for the release of those finances. It takes money to spread the gospel message. 

Has your hobby, car, TV or money become an idol. Do those things in your life take more time than the things of God. If you answered yes to these questions ask God to forgive you and start over today to lean on Jesus and to commit to helping the harvesters bring in the harvest.

This is taken a little out of context but it is true. We need not fear man because he can't do anything to a real believer in Christ Jesus.

There are many things I have to tell you. First there is a marriage amendment www.yes2marriage.org you must vote yes on this if you do not want it to be legal for your children to be taught same that sex marriage in public schools is OK. Look into it for yourself then vote yes!

One of the candidates may not be a legal citizen of the United States. Please write to me at inhislovemins[@] bellsouth for the information. This is America and we want Americans in the White House.

Second we are being attacked in our stock market to bring our country down. Pray as the evil forces in the world  that hate the prosperity in America and Israel  would like to destroy us. They are jealous of the blessings from our God in heaven. They think in their ignorance that if they take us over they will get our blessings. Hey! It does not work that way. You have to be a born again Christian to receive the peace of God and the blessings that go with it. Amen

Another thing that concerns me is the negative talk I hear from Christians. I have on my license plate a saying that says choose life. If we talk trash or negatively we are choosing death instead of life. You get what your say. We should be speaking the Word because: "So shall my word be that goeth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

Speak the Word of God! "Blessed is the man that doeth this"...Isaiah 56:2a

Do you think Wall Street and these other businesses might have been wiser if they had listened to their counselors?

Most of us would never think of walking away from a business with millions of dollars if it was going down. We would probably let our earnings go to save the business. There are other things working in this equation and I think politics has a lot to do with the problem. God help us in the next few days and years if the wrong man gets into the white house. In the Bible though you will see that God's children had to go into captivity because of their rebellious ways.

It is plain and simple. We rebel. why because we want out own way and we never learned that that is not always the best way. Here is a prayer for leadership in the coming election.

"Bless the Lord. O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's." (Psalm 103).

Lord bless us and this country with integrity and your love for it's fellow man. Let us not seek only for our own good but for the good of others. Help us to be the men and women you called us to be.

Protect those in government and our sitting President and his family. Guide them in their future choices. Send your angels to protect them.

Lord over turn the laws that make people sin and take the lawmakers out that create and keep those laws in place.

Let the next President and Vice President be of your choosing and not the devils. We plead the blood of Jesus over such men and women that would take office in the next election. Protect their families from evil in this day and age.

We praise and thank you Lord for all these things and believe if we ask any thing in the name of Jesus it will be done if we believe.(Matthew 7:7,8)

Question? Why do you think having a women Vice President now would be advantageous to our country?

Women in the Bible have many times been used let people know how much faith meant to the Lord. One such women in Matthew 15:22-28 would not be driven away from the Lord. She believed the Lord could help her daughter and would not give up. And Jesus answered and said unto her, "O women, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt: And her daughter was made whole from that very hour" (Matthew 15:28). I personally think Mrs Palin is that type of women. I think the Lord chose her and she will serve our country well. I think she won't quit and those in power had better watch out. She is not afraid to uncover corruption.

Let's see what the dictionary says a snob is before we answer that.

Encarta R  World English Dictionary says:

1.It is somebody who looks down on others; or somebody who admires and cultivates relationships with those considered socially superior, and disdains those considered inferior.

2. It is somebody who feels superior: somebody who looks down on people considered to have inferior knowledge or tastes.

Have you ever been around people who call themselves Christians and they get there nose out of joint when you ask them for money or help? Maybe you don't run in the same earthly social circles and they look at you like you are less than dirt..because you have fallen on hard times. If you have met such Christians then you may have come face to face with a Christian snob.

Are they a Christian. Maybe and Maybe not.  Are they supposed to act like a snob. NO!!!!! They are supposed to act like Jesus. The problem is they may not have gone through the some things you have so they may not understand your plight. Many times they have learned to be a snob because of the people they associate with. 

Even though we don't like it because to be snubbed hurts we have to forgive if we want to move on. So just like God had Job prayed for his friends who looked down on him, you should pray for them. Read Job 42:10  "So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than the beginning,...'" Job 42:12

The e-mail you sent was unreadable. It would seem that you are very angry at God for something. If you don't open up and tell me what it is I can't help. The Lord can though. The Bible says..."He gave you a hearing ear and a seeing eye..."Proverbs 20:12 If you ask the Lord for his help in this situation he will open your mind of understanding.

I know life hurts sometimes. . Many times I feel like I have to stand alone because I can't go along with the things others do. That goes with the territory when you are part of the Kingdom of God. It is going to be glorious someday but for now we live in a sin filled world. Many people are being used by the enemy to pull you down and to keep you down.

Jesus ( There is something about that name) though has a better plan for you. "For in him we live and move and have our being,..."Acts 17:28  Read John 14:1-7 Jesus is your way out of any problem. he can dry all your tears.

 How can you lead by example?

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

As believers in Christ we are to follow his example. Then we are to lead others to do the same. Many times our flesh wins over the Spirit and we make a mess of things. If we will keep our eyes on the Word of God and continue to fellowship with other believers then we might not fail so often.

Some of the things Christians do that dim their light are the following. Gossip, gamble, drink, get into debt, and become unequally yoked. If you know other things please let me know. Now I know we all fall short in many ways. We are not perfect, however we are to be striving to perfection or maturity.

For you were sheep going astray; but now returned to the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls(mind, will and emotions) 2 Peter 2:25 If we have truly returned, we have turned away from sin or disobedience to the Law.

Jesus said; "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17

More of Jesus and less of me.

Have you ever been born again? Read John 3 Many things don't make sense until we are. I know because I was a Christian in name only because I had been to church but then my friend asked me if I was born again and my life started to change. The light started to show me the way. John 14:6

Q. Why are there so many weak Christians?

A. I think it is because they were never told that they need to prepare themselves daily for the work of the Lord or at least they never understood how important it is to do so even if you are not in full time ministry. So how does one prepare so you can be strong in the Lord? In Ephesians 6:6-20 it explains that we are to arm ourselves daily. Every Christian should do a study on that scripture because we are in a spiritual war. In Ephesians 6:15 it says: "And (have) your feet shod(with) the preparation of the Gospel (the Word) of peace..." KJV Reading the Word every day prepares you and makes you strong."The Word became a human and lived among us. We beheld His glory- the glory that belongs to the only Son of the Father-and he was full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NCV Spending time reading the Word is spending tome with the Lord himself. When you spend time with the Lord he will make you strong and you will have a boldness to speak the truth that you need in these last days. Amen. You will also not be so easily deceived.

On Saturday April 19, 2008 the Passover ( a Jewish holiday) began. This is the time the Jews and the Christian believers should celebrate deliverance from the spirit of death. Exodus 3:7,8 

The death angel passed over the Jews in Egypt as they marked the door post with the blood of a perfect lamb. Hebrews 9:22

Christians believers are delivered from the second death because of the shed blood of Jesus. Jesus is our perfect lamb and was sacrificed for us because of our sin. Romans 3:9-31

Take time each day to thank God for His grace and His sacrifice and love, in Jesus name. Ephesians 1:3-14

Passover sheds the light on this truth of God. Read it in Exodus 11:1-12:30

Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way, the truth,and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' John 14:6

The Jewish holidays shed light on the truth of God. study them and show yourself approved. Amen

Thank you for your question. It is a good one. 

In Exodus 3:14 it says, "And God said to Moses (the deliverer) I AM that I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel I AM hath sent me unto you."

Now when Jesus said in John 8:58..."Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I AM; He was not replacing anything. He was confirming who He was and is. He is the great I AM in the flesh. Isn't that awesome. 

In John 14:6 Jesus says: I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man (or woman) cometh unto the Father, but by me." ( Or should we say I AM)

If you read on John 14:8-11 Jesus again confirms who He really is.

Sometimes it is so simple you can't see the forest for the trees.

To really understand the Word of God you must be born of water and the spirit. John 3.

Take time with the Lord each day as He wants to teach you more about who He is. Amen

How does one become sanctified?

In John 17:17 it says to: "Sanctify them through the truth: thy word is truth." Sanctify means to make holy or free from sin. Jesus is the Word and turning away from sin and accepting him, (the Word) will free you from sin.It seems so simple yet it can become hard if you don't continue to read your word every day. The Word of God (Jesus is the Word made flesh John 1:14) if read daily will make you into the person God calls you to be. Little by little Gods instruction book will sanctify your soul. mind, (will and emotions)

Why are people not afraid of God? Is it because he is so forgiving? We need to understand that God is holy and he will not let his children continue in their sin. Yes he has mercy on us but to repent and receive Jesus is to turn away from sin. Sin is not obeying Gods Word.

If you don't read your word everyday it is easy to not follow His way because you forget what the Word tells you to do.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need." Hebrews 4:16

"Jesus loves you however he can only help you if you turn back to him and walk with him and study with him. "The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father.) full of grace and truth." John 1:14

In this story the Sadducee's (who did not believe in the resurrection) tried to trap Jesus with a story of a woman who had many husbands. (Mark 18-25) When we marry we say until death do us part. When we rise again and we are with Jesus and we will be like a big loving family. We will know each other and love each other but we will not need to populate the earth . We will live forever with Jesus and walk in love, peace and joy. 

If you are reading this and have never asked Jesus to come into your heart and asked him to forgive your sins please do so now. He wants to come live inside of you and help you to become the person you are really called to be. Romans 10: 9,10,13 and John 3:16 and Psalm 48:1-8

I have been thinking about your question and comment. I have to wonder why or how you can hate me when you have not met me. I know it's not me you hate but Jesus because you have probably been hurt at some time by a person who told you they were Christian.

First I would like to say forgive me for any hurt or pain I may have caused you.1 John 1:8 says: "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." I want you to understand that in Jesus I love you and I know that love breaks the power of hate. 

One of the first things my husband and our sons learned as Christians was to forgive. This is not always easy because the hurt and the pain is so deep but it works. 

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:17 Jesus is the only way to be healed, saved and delivered from the pin in this world.

Oneisha, Jesus loves you very much and only wants the best for you. Now that you know that, ask God to forgive you and ask Jesus to come into your heart and make you into the person he created you to be. Colossians 1:13-14; Romans 1:9-10; John 17:21-23; Zechariah 13:9; Galatians 4:6, John 14:6

Someone asked me how I can rub people the right way for Christ. It is because I love Jesus. 

1 John 4:19 "We love him, because he first loved us."

You see I know that Jesus John 3:16 is the only way to freedom here on this earth and for eternity so to say I am rubbing people the right way for Christ is to let them know that the rub they feel is not going to hurt them but help them. 2John 3

We have had a lot of bumps on the road even since we became saved. After one of the bumps we ended up living in a friends camper trailer. I woke one morning sobbing and repeating I hate you God until I realized what I was saying and I asked God to forgive me. 

God had to show me I was so mad at him I had replaced my love for a root of bitterness. That morning the Lord dug it out because I asked him to. It has been up hill since.

We still have our moments but now I try to not let the sun go down without asking forgiveness for any mistakes I have made that day. Matthew 6:12

Romans 10:9, 10, and 13 will help you to understand the way. Matthew 9:6 will help you release those who hurt you.

Your life can be restored if you let Jesus do it. Matthew 9:18-26

So many people want to accuse, abuse and malign the believer in Christ. Why? That is easy. When someone is not saved he is owned by the devil. Satan uses those persons to come against us. We can let them or we can ignore them and go on about the Lords work. The choice is ours because we belong to the Lord and nothing can hurt us.

A year or so after we were saved we decided to rent a booth in a flea market and have a Christian prayer booth. We were praying with many people and then a Christian who owned a radio station tried to talk us out of it. He quoted this scripture an thought we would quit. Well we told him that we knew this scripture but the people here didn't. All they knew was that we were making ourselves available to pray and they were praying and getting saved, healed and delivered.

How do you bless a house?

Just like God blessed the children of Israel he wants to bless the believer in Christ.

Numbers 6:22-27 "And the Lord spoke to Moses; saying Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, on this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them; 

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee. 
The Lord make his face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; 
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace,
And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

Walk around and bless your house with this blessing and you will be blessed twice as you bless Israel as well.

Happy and safe New Year!

One of our New Years resolutions is to read the word of God more faithfully. It helps us to grow and to stay strong in adversity.

Most of the time the people we minister to that have struggles more than normal are not in the word. They get busy and they just don't read it. If you aren't reading the word then you aren't obeying it. If you don't obey the word you are an accident waiting to happen.

If the word lights your path then it stands to reason if you are not in the word the path is dark. How can one walk in the darkness? You can't.

Start today reading your word. Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning God created..." Read each day a verse or two or a chapter in the Old Testament, The New Testament, a Psalm and a Proverb. You will finish the Bible in a year if you read every day.

Be blessed and be encouraged, God loves you. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Recently someone told me I had this problem or I should say the a comparable word, jealousy. So I started to study this out. I was a little puzzled because the Lord gave another word which was resentment. Now I am wondering who is right? The person or God.

Let me go back a little in time. My son once told me that even if the person was wrong in what they say to us God still uses it for our growth. 

So I had just studied the word resentment and had prayed and ask God to forgive me in this area and he did and has. I am still growing in the area of not resenting people but I know the problem and God shed his light on it so I could be delivered and I am.

Now this new word that came from man not from God does concern me because it is someone I am close to. They feel this is a problem for me so I need to learn and grow from this as well.

I would like to add, however that I do not have to receive this word if I feel God has not spoken to me in this area. You see many times God speaks to someone about a problem they have and they want to give it to someone else when God is really trying to show them so they will grow.

If people are always passing on the problem to someone else then they will keep the problem and never walk in the fullness God has for them.

We all have issues that need to be worked on and if we listen to the Lord (via the Word) we will be delivered and walking in victory and love. 

Forgive me Lord and fill me with your love. Help me always to walk in the fruit of your spirit in every area of my life. Amen Galatians 5:22,23

"If any man (woman too!) will (desires to) come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23

When was the last time you denied yourself? Have you denied yourself your favorite foods or worn last years party dress? Have you denied yourself a soap opera or a football game and or a beer or a coke?

What does it mean to take up Your cross daily? What is your cross? For me it is not working a full time job and living on less to serve God in the ministry. It means not giving as much at Christmas and therefore you don't get as much. That can be a very hard cross to bear for some even for me.

Christmas with just Christ and no frills. Hmmmmmm! Could some deny their selves big gifts and parties. It will be very hard for some but if you will try to cut back a little each year you will see more of Jesus in the season than ever before.

This year bless someone else with your love and your gift of your time and watch how God blesses you in ways you have never dreamed.

Thank you Lord for your gift of love this season and help us to share more of your love to others so they to can receive the real meaning of Christmas.

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." Romans 1:22

I once had a boss who loaned out his Christmas tree. When it was returned the next year the top part of the tree did not seem to fit. He called the people he had loaned it to and read them the riot act. I was so embarrassed because the people were the Pastor next door and his wife.

Since they could not find it (and they tried very hard) he decided to work with the one he had.

Now what do you think happened next. Once he started working with the top he realized it was the right one after all.

I told him to go right over and apologize but he wouldn't because he said they would think he was stupid. I was not saved at the time so I told him he was stupid for not trying the topper first. He agreed but he still would not fess up.

He knew to do the right thing and did not do it and it made him all the more foolish.

If we know God and we don't worship him and or serve him we will suffer the consequences. 

Let God be God in your life and serve Him not man, flesh or images.

"Beloved,"believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:1-3

Beloved, there are many spirits in this world today. You could call them doctrines of faith, beliefs, false religions, atheism, and or scoffers. The Bible speaks a lot about other spirits or the Antichrist spirit. The above scripture will help you understand or share why you believe as you do. Stand on the Word.

Saints, if you truly want to win the lost to Christ you need to be prepared with scriptures to explain why and what you believe. Let the Lord give you a Rhema word for the day to pass on to someone who is seeking. If you do not prepare yourself spiritually for the day you will not be able to let your light shine.

Prepare, pray and share every day and you will be blessed and filled with Gods perfect love and joy. Amen

I sometimes wonder why so many Christians don't spend enough of their free time in the Word or in church. I am starting to see how the enemy is using even good projects to pull us away from our time with God. We need to fellowship with the Lord and with other believers. Amen

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7

Please don't 
let others put a guilt trip on you when you don't want to be busy, busy (even in church). The Lord gives us peace and we should enjoy it. Amen and Amen

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

The other night I woke up with strep throat. I asked the Lord why? I felt he was saying I had unforgiviness toward a family member. I asked the Lord to forgive me and I then forgave the person (even though he was already passed).

The strep throat left me and I was able to sleep. Sometimes we need to just ask God where we missed it. Amen

Q: In the opening prayers of the Mass, what is the sin of the world ?

During the communion prayers, what are the sins of the world ?

A: Dear Armand La Rocque, 

Originally Mass was for everyone who wished to attend; those who were saved or those who were not as well as those who were members of the church. We believe the mass was to draw people to Christ. So, the sin of the world they are talking about is found is Genesis 2:16-17 and in Genesis 3:6:-7 where Gods command was disobeyed by Adam and man (kind) was doomed to die separated from God. The first sin was disobedience to Gods command. 

Originally, the communion service was for believers only. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) (Only true believers and those who have released and forgiven all others should take communion.) Communion recognizes that Jesus came, was beaten and shed His, blood and then died on the cross in our place for the (now )sins of the world. The first Adam brought sin into the world and the second Adam, Jesus, brought salvation from the sins( disobedience to Gods Word) to all mankind. John 1:29 Now we can live for eternity if we accept this gift. John 3:16 

When we go to mass or church, it is to draw us to the truth and into a closer relationship with our creator and our Savior.

Do you know that God hates the wicked? 

Who are the wicked. Well lets see.

In the parable of the talents he called the man who buried his talent wicked because he did not increase what he gave him. Matthew 25:14-30

He cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness; where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:30

If that does not make you nervous about not doing what God has called you to do, I think you must not be taking the Lord seriously enough. Amen

Please understand the God has a plan and his plan is to use each one of his children to carry out that plan. 

So go before the Lord and ask him where he wants your talent to be used and don't, please don't bury it. Amen

We are coming into a season of thanksgiving. It may be hard at times to thank the Lord in the mist of a trial; however if you do the trial will not seen so bad and it just may not last as long.

Take your Bible out and write a prayer for Thanksgiving now using Psalm 107 or another you choose. Pray that prayer each day as you begin your day. Pray with your family every day.

You see the Word is alive and it will heal and bless your day and life as you read it in your quiet time.

Slow down and make time for the Lord and he will speak to your heart. Amen

"O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." Psalm 107:1

Q: Why should I take time to read my Bible?

A: Dear Chandler,

The Lord gave the Word to save our souls because the Word in the Bible in Jesus and Jesus sacrifice saves you.

John 1:1 says: :In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. 

Then in John 1:14 it goes on to say:"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, and the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth." 

Our faith in God is built and it grows from reading the Word of God."So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

Praying is talking to God and reading the Word is God talking to you.

Chandler, if you will read your Bible each day after you pray God will bless you with wisdom. And in today's world we need as much of Gods wisdom as we can get.

Bless you and start with today's date and read a Psalm with your parents. Read out loud if you can as it will sink in better.
